WORKREADY

QAT is an Approved WorkReady Training Provider and from July 2015 we are able to offer subsidised training in the following courses. Please note, that eligibility criteria apply and there may be additional enrolment conditions that need to be met prior to being approved for a subsidised training place.

Please Note: A training fee (co-contribution) may be applicable.

Am I eligible for a funded place in the WORKREADY Program?

You may be eligible for government subsidised training if you either live or work in South Australia, and you are:

  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen;
  • a permanent Australian resident; or
  • the holder of a state sponsored visa and on a pathway to a permanent residency.

You also need to be one of the following:

  • aged 16 years or over and not enrolled at school; or
  • aged 16 years or over, enrolled in school and undertaking training through the Training Guarantee for SACE Students (TGSS); or
  • undertaking training through a training contract as an apprentice or trainee.

All eligible individuals will be entitled to:

  • two funded Courses selected from Certificate III level and above
  • unlimited priority Courses

If you have not completed secondary school or any other qualification or you are actively looking for work and registered with Centrelink, you will also be entitled to two funded courses at Certificate I and II level.

You can only be enrolled in two courses at a time.

Enrolment Conditions

Some subsidised training courses have enrolment conditions and are only available to particular groups of students. These conditions are noted in the above course listing and below are explanations of those conditions.

Jobs First – Course fees are subsidised by the Government of South Australia’s WorkReady Jobs First Subsidised Training List (STL) Project funding for eligible Job Seekers

Training Contract only – You must be an apprentice or trainee with an approved Training Contract.

ASbA only – You must be an Australian school-based apprentice or trainee with an approved Training Contract.

TGSS only – You must be a student enrolled in school, and undertaking vocational education and training as part of your SACE.

Fee for Service

QAT has a wide variety of nationally recognised short courses and full qualifications that can be customised/contextualised to your requirements on a Fee for Service (FFS) basis. Please contact us for further details.
